Privacy Policy

Veddy AI (“we”, “us”, “our”) is an AI-powered resume builder operated by Durga Venu Kumar Mutyala, based in India. You can reach us at venu.tarb.ai@gmail.com.

Account data: When you sign up via Clerk, we receive your email address and a unique user ID. We do not store your password — authentication is handled entirely by Clerk.

Resume data: The content you enter into the resume builder (name, work history, skills, etc.) is stored in our database so you can access it across devices. This data belongs to you.

Waitlist data: If you join the waitlist, we store your email address to notify you when new features launch.

Usage data: We may collect basic analytics (page views, feature usage) to improve the product. We do not sell this data.

We use your data to:

• Provide and improve the Veddy AI service
• Sync your resumes across devices
• Send product updates if you joined the waitlist (you can unsubscribe at any time)
• Respond to support requests

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your resume content to train AI models.

If you enable the Resume Live Link feature, your resume becomes publicly accessible at a unique URL. Anyone with that link can view and download your resume as a PDF.

You can disable the link at any time from the builder. Disabling it immediately makes the page inaccessible — no caching or delay.

We recommend not including sensitive personal information (national ID numbers, full home address, etc.) in publicly shared resumes.

Your data is stored in Supabase, a secure cloud database with row-level security. This means only you can read or modify your own resumes — enforced at the database level, not just the application layer.

Authentication is handled by Clerk, which is SOC 2 Type II certified. We never see or store your password.

Your account and resume data is retained as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your data is deleted from our systems within 30 days.

Waitlist emails are retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion.

You have the right to:

• Access the data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Export your resume data

We use cookies only for authentication (session management via Clerk). We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

We use the following third-party services to operate Veddy AI:

• Clerk — authentication and user management
• Supabase — database and storage
• Vercel — hosting and deployment

Each of these services has their own privacy policy. We encourage you to review them.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll update the “Last updated” date at the top. Continued use of Veddy AI after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
